b. Where Walker Daniel (first attorney general
for District of Kentucky) and George Keightly (merchant from Ireland) were
ambushed and killed by Indians August 12, 1784. They were on their way to Bullitt's Lick saltworks
(g). Daniel was buried at the saltworks in an unmarked grave.
