Afterglow

Wipe away the tears- the excitement is all gone

Mow your left ponder what really when on

Was it just emotion or is is really real

We've been taught not to rely on the way we feel

No matter what you feel you have kept the after glow

When you look at fact and not feelings in your heart you can know

That when you prayed the prayer of faith all heaven did rejoice

All your sins were wiped away because of your choice.

You may say you don't understand you only need to know

You were as far away from heaven as any man could go

Your prayer moved all creation when on the Lord you called

Do you think for a moment God's going to drop it all?

No matter what you feel you will keep the afterglow

Youíre adopted into a family so in your heart you know

God wraps His arms around you and celebrates the choice

You're chosen to become God's child- a reason to rejoice
