For Those He Never Knew

Some will soon inquire

“Why did someone ruin the choir?”

In the twinkling of an eye there’s a hole up in the sky

And the rivers flow red-Open graves of the dead

Are empty-How can it be true?

“He was up there in the sky- where in the world was I?

God must have made a mistake”

There are those He didn’t take

For those He never knew...

We’ll just seem to fly away, fly away, fly away!

The day will be like night, the moon will lose its light

The stars will fall from the sky

Those left will wonder why and think they’re dreaming

And in the church that day all the prayers that are prayed

Come much too late- in their abandoned state

Corrupt and screaming...

For this never fades away fades away, fades away...
