How Cna You Hide?

How can you hide from the Son?

How can you turn your back and run

The heat may be heavy and the light may be bllind

But how do you hide from the Son?

How can you hide from the light?

All truth all power, all life?

Do you deny your maker, redeemer and friend?

How can you hide from the light?

Day unto day you can let life slip away

Wasted for fear of being free.

Unaware and waiting, turning away

From what your life can truly be!

How can you hide from the Lord?

Even though your own way is hard

You may stumble and fall

But He’s still Lord of all!

So how can you hide from the Lord?

The words I speak, the thoughts I think

My actions when I’m beyond the brink

The sin I love the men I hate

The time when I refuse to wait,

He knows all I think and do

Couldn’t hide from Him if I wanted to

The heart is where He sees us

So how can you hide from Jesus?

How can you hide from the Lord?

Even though your own way is hard
