LoveSong

A man is born, he lives and dies, and while he lives he laughs and he cries.

But life is filled with hate and lies without a lovesong!

The heart knows what we cannot hear and cannot see, though it’s very near

And there is freedom in my tears with a lovesong

His Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things

A melody of joy the heart now sings -singing a , singing a, singing a Lovesong!

A man was born, He laughed and cried- He spoke the truth that couldn’t be denied

And His love can never be crucified- He was a Lovesong

He died under judgment for our sin so that we might be redeemed

And if we put out trust in Him He’ll teach us a lovesong!

His Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things

A melody of joy the heart now sings -singing a , singing a, singing a Lovesong!

1 John 4:8-10, 16-19

1 Corinthians 13

These verses hit me hard and I note several songs I have written were based upon them.I was opbviously wanting to experience and celebrate this Love I was reading about. I can recall vivdly a prayer God gave me- It was impossible that ist could have come from me- that I wanted God’s mate for my life and for Him to provide the very special one- I had proven to myself that I was incaplable of that kind of wisdom myself- I dated a lot and made some bad choices that God graciously preserved me through. He also provided grace enough to keep me chaste, which has been a lifelong praise.
