Paperback Bible

Caught up in a tug of war, never thought it could be true,

But doubts became reality, now choices are but few

You knew the time was right for me to get the facts

When truth revealed itself to me in a ragged paperback...

I was looking around couldn't make up my mind

Didn't know what I was searching for, or what I would find.

But God was waiting patiently and much to my surprise

Inside a paperback Bible was my ticket to paradise!

I fought it seems forever full of reasons in my mind

But those reasons couldn't stand when He gave sight to the blind

Then I saw and finally understood why He was crucified

While I was denying His love and grace He laid down His life and died!

I was looking around couldn't make up my mind
