Surrender

Once you were an enemy to God- The battle raged for years-

You surrendered when He won your heart, but you still hold to your fears

Now you have a new leader to follow but it's your tendency to rebel

His victory is not hollow but sometimes it's hard to tell...

Surrender- you must give definite deliberate control

Surrender- transfer the possession of your body and soul

Surrender- give up your life unto the Lord alone

Don't try to keep possesion of what god owns.

To things we think that we can't live without we cling for all we're worth

Holding onto garbage that fills our life embracing the old when we have a new birth

What you save you surely lose- you'll never gain those things you hoard

You've kept the keys to your spiritual household- turnh them over to the Lord.

Surrender- you must give definite deliberate control

Surrender- transfer the possession of your body and soul

Surrender- give up your life unto the Lord alone

Don't try to keep possesion of what god owns.

There's no such thing as a partial surrender

How many rights does a dead man own?

His name is on the deed to your heart

Give Him free access and it'll be His home.

Surrender- you must give definite deliberate control

Surrender- transfer the possession of your body and soul

Surrender- give up your life unto the Lord alone

Don't try to keep possesion of what god owns.
