Would it Help me to Believe?

As the sun gives way to the shadows and darkness creeps over the land

A crowd stands by three crosses- on each cross hangs a man

i find myself in their presence and as the blood drips down on me

i look up to see Jesus but it's my own face I see

Would it really make a difference, would it help me to believe?

if I'd been where it was finished on that day at Calvary?

If I'd seen where they had laid Him when they thought it was the end,

Would it help to see Him risen- could I truly comprehend?

Could i then understand the reason the son of God chose to die?

So that i could choose to be dead to sin and through Him be crucified?

Would it really make a difference, would it help me to believe?
