China Doll
Life has chipped your tiny features by its ranting raging
way
I have come for consolation and I have so much to say
For I too was once a man of clay...
Now I cannot let you suffer and I cannot let you cry
For your tears would only wash away your lovely painted
eyes
And not seing you might never realize...
Not knowing what the truth is you might not believe in Me
Though I hold you up in careful hands
In truth I've set you free
And with freedom comes responsibility
For in choosing love becomes reality
if you only knew the soul that dwells within your china
frame
Doesn't have to be destroyed or broken by your pain
For I carved youy in my likeness by my hand
And then I myself became a wooden man
So that I could help you understand...
