Count the Cost

There's a pearl of great price which I have found-

It's worth more than all that I own

But is it worth the cost- is the investment sound?

When it's like nothing I have ever known?

For "Thou shalt have no other gods before me"

Says the holy Lord of Hosts

There are many graven images in our treasury

They're whatever we love the most!

Some are molten and some are mental

But idols are never accidental

First we must identify them

Then we must choose to defy them

Count the cost before you mnake the choice-

Before you choose your way

Count the cost before you maske the choice

There's a price that you must pay!
