I'll Not Be Anxious

Well sometimes I fret and I tend to forget

Just who it is I belong to

The worst of my foes are my worries and woes

And troubles that never come true.

Now I'll not be anxious for what comes tomorrow

Each day has enough of its troubles and sorrow

'Cause whatever I do, the more that I see

My saviour will take care of me!

If ever I'd learn to forget my concern

And to trust Him in all that i do

Then if i could just merely learn how to trust

That the promises God makes are true,

Now sometimes the future i wish i could see

All that I am and all I'll come to be

But I will never see clearly until

It's being worked out in His will!

Now I'll not be anxious for what comes tomorrow

Each day has enough of its troubles and sorrow

'Cause whatever I do, the more that I see

My saviour will take care of me!

Now I'll not be anxious for what comes tomorrow

Each day has enough of its troubles and sorrow

'Cause whatever I do, the more that I see

My saviour will take care of me!
