My Refuge

 

The Lord is my refuge, my haven from storm

My strength in all weakness my peace from alarm

My joy in all sorrow, my hope in despair

My courage in conquest, my helper in prayer

So what if the mountains are removed to the sea

or the heavens above me should cease there to be?

Though others forsake me and life is unfair

the lord is my refuge- He'll always be there!

 

The Lord is my fortress to Him I can go

When all others fail me

 and waters o'erflow

The Lord is my shield he is strong to  defend

My rock of salvation my hope to the end.
