A Picture of innocence

 

God is not a tyrant in the sky we're trying to appease

As a father looking on His children, what do you think He sees?

For we are purified

If we confess our sins, then those sins have died

With childlike faith we trust that we have been forgiven

Life's no linger dust to dust

God's not raising higher standards and we're not just trying to please

Obedience glorifies our Lord And He smiles when He sees

A picture of innocence

reflections of His love,

images of his only sonHe sent down from above

A picture of innocence

Like children in his care-Adopted into His family

secure in the inheritance we share!
