Stone Broken

2 Corinthians 5:15

 

You think you serve the risen King-

But you grieve His heart and you don't feel a thing

You say you are a self made man-

If you are you really don't understand

 

Living for your self- is death on any level

Living for yourself is living for the devil

 

Well you don't know the Lord

You don't know the one

Who said bury yourself in me

And I'll raise you up a new creation

 

For He died for all- He died for all

So that the living might for self no longer live

But instead for Him who died and was raised

For their sake - to reconcile and forgive

For He died for all- He died for all

 

Lord take our haughty spirit and throw it on a rock

Break it to pieces and shatter the locks

Blessed is the heart that allows itself to be broken

To be broken
