The Sin Song

 

We know its a sin to steal or kill

It's a sin to lie and cheat

We know its a sin to covet or hate

And that sin just brings defeat

We know the obvious things in life

That constitute a sin

What can we do when we're given a choice

And feel the pressure to give in?

 

Learn to resist the devil- he wants to destroy your soul

We can know the way our adversary works- he is a defeated foe

learn to resist the devil by learning to obey

God doesn't say to have an open mind- just have His mind today!

 

It's a sin to rely upon yourself

For the Spirit wants to lead

It's our choice to think God's not enough

Then we try to meet our needs.

The consequences must be paid

Though we know the Lord forgives

A blessing missed or a witness lost

Is something with which we must live.

 

Learn to resist the devil- he wants to blind your eyes

It's a personal choice to listen to the father of all lies!
