Wake Up Call

 

In a battle of cosmic proportions - A struggle for men's minds

And souls for all eternity Yet as if we're blind

We act as if we don't believe The battle is for real

We tend to take our comfort In a man made peace we feel...

 

Wake up! wake up for Jesus You've been sleeping much too long

Now be alert and ready discerning right and wrong

Your commander gives direction- the world is at your door

With love the motivation we win forevermore!

 

Have we lost all  our sensation- now no one sheds a tear

We can resist the rising tide and to His Word adhere

But mixing truth and error we can't tell them apart

A spiritual adultery takes place within our heart.

 

Wake up! wake up for Jesus  and  with compassion ache

Now stand for truth as THE truth - the victory to take.
