When a Man Knows God

 

Lord it's not for me to care whether I live or die

To love and serve you is my share- even this your grace supplies

If life is long I will be glad- that i might long obey

If short then why should I be sad to soar an endless day?

 

Losses cease to matter when a man knows God

Crosses cease to matter when  a man knows God

It's just a matter of course when i consider my source

That I come to know sweet release

When a man knows God He is truly at peace!

 

Lord it's not for me to worry if i have little or much

For you know the sparrows fall and you know the needy's touch

And I am held firm forever- my name is written on your hand

And I can trust the one who shelters me  and knows the man I am!
