Empowered to Act

"Let go and let God" men say-But God doesn't see life that way

The Lord desires, The Lord REQUIRES

His children to trust and obey!

Power that the Lord provides is for one whom in Christ abides

It's not chance or fate that we appropriate

But the One who in use resides!

Not by power nor by might

But by His Spirit we fight the good fight

Diligent unto the end, we stand against the dark

We must run the good race, press on to the mark

Working out our salvation that He has worked in

For this truth we contend!

It's not by feeling we react- it's by a deliberate act

The work He's done- within His Son

The object of our faith is FACT!

Not by power nor by might

But by His Spirit we fight the good fight
