Like a little child we are tempted by candy by a stranger

Can we see the danger?

Will we believe the lie- or even let it slip by

But we have a protector- a lie detector

The Spirit bears witness with our spirit

When you live the truth then there's no need to fear it!

Closer to us than we are to ourselves,

Illumine the proof- show us the truth

Shout a warning to our souls

The world's about to take its toll!

we are happy with our old old ways

Because they give a comfortable way to live

No sense of what is true No basis for our values
