Well you don't have to empty your mind

By leavin your thoughts all behind

You just need to yield in oder to be filled!

Cause neither an mantra nor a mudra can save ya or renew ya

Only Jesus died and rose- He's the only way- that's how it goes!

Well old hurry is a demon that yields superficiality

No time for contemplation For God or eternity

The world is larger than we know-

But meditation goes so slow

Isn't that something you do -with your guru?

Well you don't have to be starvin' or sad

though a fast now and then isn't bad

If the object of your meditation holds the keys to your salvation!

Well you don't have to practice yoga

Shave your head or wear a toga

Cause only Jesus died and rose He's the only way that's how it goes!

We're called boldly to the presence of the eternal Lord

Called to an encounter that shouldn't be ignored

Cause we can choose to seek his face

To taste and see, feel his embrace

And that's not something you'd wanna do- with your guru!
