Pieces of the Puzzle

I had the pieces of the puzzle all arranged

Put them all together yet they looked very strange

Felt so confident that i had made some sense

Of something that was truly meaningless

But am I seeing truth, or truth and error in a mixture?

Where arre the missing pieces of this shattered picture?

Am I big enough to see life's aim?

Life from this perspective looks much like a game

Where is the meaning in a world without God?

A God who is personal yet infinite?

Where is the meaning in a world without God?

Not abstract or shrouded, but intimate...

What's the logical end to what I'm trying to defend?

Where's the meaning?

There is but one ladder to the roof

Straight and narrow is the way of truth

By suspending the rules to your game that you play

You're left with discontent and disarray

Where's the meaning?

In a world where there are no absolutes

You've no reason for following any certain route

When faced with the rules you can bend them and twist them

Ther's really no reason to subscribe to the system

But i searched for answers in causes and such

If truth doesn't work then it isn't worth much

I couldn't look to myself for a cure

In a world without God nothing is sure!
