the Highest Praise

The highest praise comes not in a song

But in living for Jesus all your life long.

It's not in the words that men may say

But in doing the word we are the highest praise!

It's the pure heart and the praying heart

That seeks to know God's ways

It's the indwelling force of Christ our source

That becomes the highest praise!

The highest praise isn't voiced by a choir

But in doing just what the Lord requires

And delighting in His Holy ways

Then we truly become the highest praise!

If we believe then we receive

The grace that does amaze

For this grace that He gives allows us to live

The life of Highest praise!

We are the highest praise!
