He built the first home in the garden-He built the house of Israel

Then he built them into a nation so among them He could dwell

As He built this world by His word- for Satan He built a hell

Though it was never meant for mankind it will house all who rebel

The carpenter of Nazareth- the greatest homebuilder of all

Will protect you from the homewrecker- his work will never fall!

He built a cross to carry himself to victory over sin

He built a bridge to eternity- a pathway for all men

He'll build your home in this life-as He builds mansions above

He'll build your family if your heart is the home of His love!
