The Road

There's a choice of light and darkness that lies beyond our sight

There's a voice of one who's crying- trying to set things right

Seeking hard for a direction that leads into the light

He doesn't know the path of promise that destroys the darkest night!

Theres a call within that darkness that brings one to his knees

There's a wall that dwells inside our hearts that only Jesus sees

there's a road so straight and narrow that's beckoning to me

There's a cost to travel on it-But it's been paid, made free!

The road is not like others that progesses to a place

It indwells and enfolds when we seek his face

We will know Him more fully if he is our life and stay

For with Him's our destiny for Jesus is the Road- the WAY!

So you can go the way you're goin' for you choose the way you go

The fact you even have a choice was determined long ago!

For the only way to freedom is to pay the debt you owe

And the way to your salvation is on Jesus' narrow road!
