Hard Heart

(Solo1) Setting the course with determined force

My will be done I said

Not trusting in the unseen

Not knowing what that even means

I went just where my hard heart led.

And take you off that road

By His good grace he'll never forsake you

He will help you carry the load!

(Solo1)I made the mistake of planting my stake

In an unsure thing gone sour.

Don't want to dwell til I die

In my ill conceived lie

I need to see my Jesus' power

That moment of truth in the days of your youth

Remember what was found

You can never be lost

From the reach of the cross

You're a lost lamb waiting to be found!

For a heart beating strife is barely alive

God will chastise his children who choose to strive

So if you're struggling by your own might

Remember his yoke is easy and His burden is light!

One day you'll wake up to time you can't make up

For time can't be restored

And perhaps neither will all your plans

But a hard heart surely can if it's the Lords!
