Who in His own self bore our sins

In His own body on the tree

That we, being dead to sin

Might live unto righteousness

By whose stripes were ye healed!

For He hath made Him to be sin

For us , Who knew no sin

That we might become

The righteousness of God In Him-

And be forever sealed!

And now as saviour he defends,

Intercedes and pleads for me

So now before all men

His name we will confess

To him alone we yield

For God commends His love toward us

While we were yet in Sin

Jesus died and died alone for us

For depraved and sinful men

This truth has been revealed!
