Flesh and Blood Love
It was a foregone conclusion- the law demanded one solution
When Jesus faced the leper, the unclean
Accusers spied with pride -behind the scenes
The law demanded isolation The law demanded separation
But Jesus touched the man who was unclean
And showed us what the spirit of the law means!
A heart rending plea was heard The savior without a word
Reached out to the leper with a healing touch
The untouchable was rescued from the dread disease's clutch!
For God will always hear the cry -when His own call He will reply
For the seeker cannot seek unless first sought.
While we were yet in sin Christ died for sinful men
By a flesh and blood love our freedom has been bought!
was a foregone conclusion- the law demanded one solution
When Jesus died for men who are unclean.
The accuser lies unseen.
The law demanded isolation- His love provided restoration
But Jesus touched the man who was unclean
And showed us what the spirit of the law means!
A heart rending plea is heard A Love that is more than words
Reached out to the sinner with a healing touch
the reprobate was recued from iniquity's firm clutch.
For God will always hear the cry of the one for whom He came to die
For the seeker cannot seek unless first sought
While we were yet in sin Christ died for sinful men
By a flesh and blood love our freedom has been bought!
