Seek first the Kingdom

Whatever you do without the Kingdom in mind

Whatever you gain by your power and design

Is sown to the wind what it amounts to is sin

If it's not done in faith then it's not worth a dime!

So seek first the kingdom and His righteousness

With all the things of heaven you will be truly blessed

Are you running the race and seeking the prize?

Will the road to reality leave you disqualified?

You know God can never bless any endeavor

Til He stamps eternity in your eyes!

The way of this world will bind you to blessings that are really a curse

Your desires will only blind you unless you seek the kingdom first!

On the road to reality what's not by faith is sin

So it's of eternal value for you to begin

To learn how to measure what constitutes treasure

And for heaven's reward to contend!
