The Mystery

He's not just walking next to me or sending His power from above

Cause that would mean i'm somehow separated from his love

I don't have to get nearer- He's not holding my hand

If I'm trying to find Him- I show I don't understand!

Here is the mystery- Christ lives within me!

Once concealed- it's now revealed

Christ in Me- My Hope of glory!

Conformed to His likeness, His image His plan

It's not imitation it's Jesus in command!

I'm not following His footsteps for He's leading from within

Where He's been written on my heart since I was born again!

I don't have to get nearer- He's not holding my hand

If I'm trying to find Him- I show I don't understand!
