Bold as a Lion

I fear being found out- I put my best foot forward to everyone I know

Doctor up that first impression, for there's more there than what I show.

Dying slowly in comfort and ease

A victim of a gnawing disease

One day will I, Can I be free

Of what I appear to be?

When I stop fooling myself then I can begin

To stop seeking my worth in the opinions of men

And bold as a lion I will be

When I accept God's estimate of me!

When I stand before god alone real worth will come into its own

In myself nothing , In God everything- for nothing before the throne I can bring!
