Cover Up

There is something so ugly inside

Such is the pain that we try to hide

We place the blame- the Spirit grieves

We hide our shame with figleaves.

Let's stop trying to rearrange-When we need to exchange

Figleaves for robes of righteousness

When we won't conform, close up and close out when hit by the storm

Take cover in His blood and nothing less

Meet the Master face to face -He can be our hiding place

It's just an act as a matter of fact

We show on the outside what's not within

But in a stormy time cover is hard to find

Cause fig leaves won't work well in the wind...
