The Full Mark of Jesus

the mission is real- it has never changed

In the heart of the Lord the Good news remains

When the heart of the Lord is my cry and my pain

the the full mark of Jesus I will attain!

For the fields are vacant the workers are at play

The sheaves are falling while we wait another day

Turned under by the devil's plough

Jesus said ' in the here and now

There's something to be saved from

For sin and the grave invite you to come!

So come rejoicing- bring them to Jesus

Tell of the way that he loves us and frees us!

Tell them of salvation and a savior

Tell them of the way to gain God's favor

Compel them by your life and death

Tell them of the blood and the love with each breath

For the full mark of Jesus is a love for the lost

The heart of the Lord is to die for this cost

The scars in His hands are there for the sheep

The power in His hands will hold what's His to keep!
