A Sheltered child

Don't spare your children all the pain that saerved to help you grow

You want for them God's best but you forget God's in control

You want to give them everything- indulged they will not learn

To take their needs to Father- to seek wisdom to discern.

He will be your shelter For He is faithful and true

He will be the shelter you can trust your loved ones to

Hide within your shelter where it is safe and warm!

He will be your shelter and your refuge from the storm

That hard times and hard knocks build a shelter in the storm

Or they will never learn of grace - they will save themselves from harm

So give them tools to face life- strength to run a righteous race

Equip them to trust Jesus- to rely on God's grace

He will be your shelter For He is faithful and true

He will be the shelter you can trust your loved ones to

Hide within your shelter where it is safe and warm!

He will be your shelter and your refuge from the storm
