Living A Lie

Where is the Holiness?

Where is the selflessness?

Where is the Righteousness

That Jesus the Lord demands?

Where is the Spirit bold

The new life instead of the old?

Why is your heart so cold

To all Jesus commands?

Are you living a lie?-When did you die

To the way you were from the start?

Where is the Fruit of the Spirit inside

When did He possess your heart?

I implore you- I entreat you

Examine yourself

Now I beg you to depend opn

Grace and Nothing else!

if it's not happening in you

Don't try to fool your heart

To think you are a part

Of what Jesus clearly called His own

When His holy Spirit you've not known

For just as a demon can posess a man

So the Spirit must be in command

For if you are Holy, there's nothing in you

For satan and sin to make their appeal to

For you can no longer be your own

through Him you must be crucified

And if this is not your life and breath

then my friend you're living a lie!

Oh please please hear my cry!

I don't want you to die

You're living a lie!
