A Holy Day

I want to greet a holy day each morning when I wake

To clear my mind and then to find perfection for God's sake

He said I should be perfect, for I'm perfection's choice

In the light of His indwelling, in glory I rejoice!

May each day be a holy day of moments we're together

Til I may live in holiness in your presence forever!

Oh make this then holy day infiltrate each moment

Make darkness flee so I may be in holiness content

More than a day just set apart to serve the needs of men,

Let each holy day I live be a message of love I send

May each day be a holy day of moments we're together

Til I may live in holiness in your presence forever!
