Lifted up in sacred ceremony

As in the dedication of a child

In true consecration there's redemption

In the lifting I am reconciled!

Lifted up as in a spoken blessing

Preparing to be broken like the bread

Lifted up in divine devotion

Set apart so others may be fed!

I am lifted up by Him

Who was lifted up for me

Upon a cross to take my sin

Lifted up to victory

He said if I be lifted up

To myself I will draw all men

Like a brother He will draw me

Like a mother He will draw me

Like a Father He will draw me

Like a lover He will draw me

For He is Love and he is lifted Up!

Lifted up in His hallowed hands now

From this world's miry clay and miry ways

Set and made secure upon this solid rock

Transcending and yet tending to my days

I am lifted up by Him in Love

So I will lift my hands in love and praise

As a drink of water that was drawn up from a well

I'm poured out - for this purpose I was raised!

I am lifted up by Him
