Mystic Senses

In a sea beyond my senses-In a scene beyond my dreams

There's a world that is more real than this one-For the world is not at all as it seems.

Where intimately and tenderly-We are sought so we can find

The ultimate reality that exists beyond our mind.

For God is ever present, ever there He'll never leave

And in love He manifests himself to all who will receive

For not only did He open Heaven's door to me

he gave His holy spirit to abide forevermore in me.

A gift that helps me live in heaven's colony

And gives me mystic senses to perceive eternity!

I am aware it is a gift so in receiving I'll respond

Pray for more awareness of its meaning-I'll draw near and cultivate the bond

His garments smell of myhrr and frankenscense I will taste and see the Lord is good

His sheep hear His voice and then follow -The pure in heart see God!
