Seek Ye the Lord

Come to the waters all who are thirsty

Come to the banquet all who need food

Your soul will delight in the richest of fare

Come and be satisfied- come eat what is good!

Seek ye the Lord where He may be found

Call now upon Him while he is near

Forsake and forego all your wicked ways

Turn your thoughts to the Lord and the accord the Lord fear!

For His thoughts are not your thoughts

And His ways are not your ways

As the heavens are higher than the earth

The Lord's thoughts are higher than your thoughts and ways.

As the rains come down from the heavens

To make the earth flourish and grow

Before it returns to the heavens

It yields bread to eat, it yields seed to sow.

So is the word of the Lord God's mouth

It will not return empty or void

It will accomplish just what God desires

For he sent is word to be heard and employed.

For His thoughts are not your thoughts

And His ways are not your ways

As the heavens are higher than the earth

The Lord's thoughts are higher than your thoughts and ways.
