Fuel for the Flame

 

Heaven's love is a holy Fire

It is my needy soul'd desire

In Christ is my right to claim

Abundant fuel for the flame

For when I keep the embers low

i quench the Spirit's work and so

I miss my Master's best for me

To burn with pure intensity

It is a comfort - a real jpy

To claim the tree flames can't destroy

the cross is fuel that shall endure

It refines and makes us clean and pure

By the warmth and light of Holy Fire

Souls shall find all they desire

By the cross we gain life for our own

By the cross and by the cross alone!
