Out of the Darkness

 

Out of the Darkness- God's light now shines

Through its formless, void, chaotic confines

And darkness on the face of the deep shall cease

The Spirit of God brings order and Peace!

Let there be Light- so creation begins

the darkness shall never comprehend

Nor conquer the glorious light that has shown

the Spirit of Christ has now been made known!

 

Out of the Darkness, God's light still shines

Out of my formless and void designs

o'er the face of the waters of my troubled soul

His Spirit descends to make my life whole.

The darness upon the face of the deep

Is cast out by Him who has promised to keep

The light burning brightly in every place

That has been blessed by the light of His Grace

 

Let there be Light - As in the Beginning

Let there be DONE with darkness, with sinning

Let morning break in this heart of mine

And through a life recreated

Now let His light shine!

 

Out of the Darkness God's light has shown

In the face of Christ Jesus all glory is known

O'er the face of the waters of our troubled earth

The Spirit of Christ brings renewal, rebirth

And so shall all darkness be doomed in the end

The glorious radiance He brings shall descend

To light up the kingdom He brings to this place

When He comes His Glory shall be seen in His face
