Take My Life

 

Take my Life- Lord I believe-

I trust your word and so your life I shall receive

Ishall not doubt- You'll not cast out

The one who comes to you and neither shall you leave

Take my Life- For now I know

You hear and heed my heart's desire when I let go

A firm foundatiuon stone is laid by You alone

On which my life can live and thrive and grow

 

In doubting that you hear, we're gripped by anxiety and fear

Your faithfulness by unbelief we wrong

The simple truth be known, You have FOREVER shown

You word to be unfailing sure and strong!

 

Take My Life- teach me your way

I trust implicitly each step of every day

My soul shall rest- I know I'm blessed

Your word is true- you'll take my sin away

Take my Life- I would be free

To live life for the very one who died for me

Free from Law yet by Love bound

In service to be found

Accepted, sealed for all eternity
