The Blood of Christ

 

The blood of Christ was shed for you

And shall you live for Him?

In sacrifice He bled for you

What shall you give to Him?

 

The days of your life, the work of your hands

The hope of your heart and all of your plans

The blood of Christ was shed for you

Now shall you live for Him?

 

The blood of Christ was shed for you

And shall you live for Him?

In sacrifice He bled for you

What shall you give to Him?

 

The praise of your lips, the thoughts of your mind

The bent of your will all your feelings resign

The blood of Christ was shed for you

Now shall you live for Him?

 

How can we fail to rejoice?

How can we not lift up our voice?

Having been freed from the Law and from Need

From the bondage of death and of Sin-

How can we fail to enter in?

 

So live for christ who died for you

And bind your heart to Him

Redeemed by His blood a life made new

So find your part in Him

the blood of Christ was shed for you

Now shall you live for Him?
