THe Narrow Way

I've been told that every river into one ocean flows

I hear that many ladders can reach one roof and on it goes

In my way of thinking you can't follow just any course

If your goal, your reason and desire's to find life's very source.

But there is joy on the narrow way mingled with true suffering

When we journey in the light of day with a bright and shining offering

A sacrifice of praise

Lifted to the ancient of Days

Apart from this path man only strays

Now walk away on the narrowest of ways.

We can enter God's Hope through this door and never from the roof

The only door is Jesus and His way's the only truth

And while this door is open there's no ladder for you to climb.

Just enter in and sit down at his table now to dine!

Now I have found that rivers-away from their source flow

To mix into a torrent that rages down below

It flows down to it's lowest point and gives up its identity

It's lost within an ocean of ambiguity.

But there is joy on the narrow way mingled with true suffering

When we journey in the light of day with a bright and shining offering

A sacrifice of praise

Lifted to the ancient of Days

Apart from this path man only strays

Walk away on the narrowest of ways.

There's only one way- the narrow way that leads to an open doors

Where unlimited possibilities await to be explored

A narrow gate thrown open by a dying savior's love

Nothing else can prove sufficient- but He is always enough!
