The Redeemer

 

The beauty of the Kingdom Rises

From the ashes of what life destroys

To overthrow the works of Satan,

Tear down strongholds, and turn despair to joy.

 

For Jesus is the Redeemer

He brings praises out of the wrath of men

Jesus is the Redeemer

What men mean for evil is meant for Good in Him.

He turns turmoil into triumph in the hardest helpless place

For in Christ the darkest hour becomes a platform for His grace

 

Out of deep grief a river rises

To flow through distraction, wiping it away.

And a new foundation now arises

For in Christ redemption is the Living way.

 

For Jesus is the Redeemer

He delivers men by payment of the price

Jesus is the Redeemer

By the power of the perfect sacrifice.

Satan's master stroke of victory became his sure defeat

By christ's blood redemption's power was made complete

 

He redeems us from the power of Sin

Redeems us from God's Holy Wrath

Redeems us from enemies without and within

Redeems us from the fear of death

 

For Jesus is the Redeemer

And by redemption we are His alone

Jesus is the Redeemer

He gives us worthiness just like His own

So how can we now fail to praise having been set free?

We once were bound by sin and death

But now we're bound for Glory!
