The Rock and A Hard Place

 

Christ became the truth and you fear to tell one soul

Of how he died for sinful men- you want to keep control

He came to earth from heaven - you won't even cross the street

To minister to one in need - that would be indiscrete

 

Between the Rock and a hard place there is power to obey

Between the Rock and a hard place He will give the words to say

So tell it often and tell it well

Go speak of Jesus to men bound for Hell

So they can find the rock - in their hard place.

 

The hard place is a place of fear that we're not equal to the task

Of leading men to answers to the questions they may ask

But we have a Rock of Promise who will make us sure and bold

If we let Him do it thru us the good News will be told!
