What Is the Word?

 

There is a Word unspoken there is a Word unwritten

That leaves silence unbroken- that leaves the page unsmitten

A word that remains and refrains in the mind

Beyond what reason explains Beyond space and Time

 

There is a Word that's living- a Holy Mystery

A Word of Wisdom that is giving It's light to all who see.

 

And when a needy one receives and believes upon this Word

His heart will be transformed by what his heart has heard.

For this Word is more than this world's words-the abstract or absurd

He became flesh to walk among us- this flesh that was the Word.

 

There is a Word that is  living- a Holy Mystery
