Communion of need

 

 

In all of creation there is equality-

 

we are all born in bondage and we need to be free

 

 

We are all bound together in our life as in death,

 

We have all things in common til we draw our last breath

 

We are born then we pass into eternity and were held to account for our days

 

 

We are given a light and possibility to come to the source and to light up our ways

 

 

For dead men need life before they begin to have pardon for guilt and redemption's release

 

 

Then the power to live and freedom from sin, love and acceptance and purpose and peace

 

 

 

But for the grace that created the means, to know faith and find hope in impossible scenes

 

 

Trials and labor and reproaches an loss

 

 

All find their meaning in the light of the Cross

 

 

We are all needy people, in this way we are one and we all only hve the one hope of the Son

 

 

We are all then united in the bonds of our need and we all can come to Jesus to be freed.
