I will trust my loving lord for he is good and wise

 

 

I will have a grateful heart for what his love denies

 

 

He will spare me from desires and dangers I can't recognize

I can't trust my senses or discern my desires...

 

 

I can't see the future or the end my choice requires

 

 

But I can trust my footsteps to the Lotrd who knows the way

 

 

Though I am walking in the dark He will guide me every day...

 

 

He will not give all I ask , for passions dim my eyes
