I want to be purer in  heart, to hope and to trust without fear

 

 

I want to find dearer His word, believing that God will make it clear.

 

 

I want to be calm and assured till all he reveals is made plain

 

 

I want to be subdued by grace in trial  or triumph, pleasure or pain.

 

 

I want to fly higher and higher on thoughts  of my Lord and delight

 

 

I want to draw nearer and nearer to the one who reigns in me in light.

 

 

I want to be with my savior, I want to enter His rest

 

 

I want to be found a good steward, faithful throughout every test.
