Put away your works and deeds for they can never meet your needs

 

 

As wood and hay and stubble burn, the righteousness you seek to earn

 

Is like so many weeds...

 

 

Only Christ can save... Pardoning mercy He gave... To redeem you from the grave

 

For in Him alone is Life (repeat)

 

 

He was made the perfect sacrifice, only He has paind sin's price

 

To redeem you from the slave market of sin, to give a new life for you to begin

 

 

For a corpse only life will suffice

 

 

On His head the sin was laid- at the cross the price was paid

 

 

Now there is no other name   given under heaven for us to claim
